Here’s why and how it works:
Let’s face it… traditional web design projects can take weeks or even months! 😱 But, don’t worry, my process is very different! After my fair share of those drawn out projects, I finally realized a ton of time gets wasted in the back and forth part of the design process. Basically, waiting for email responses was the bane of my existence!
So, now I have streamlined the process and it works like a dream!
Here’s the secret recipe for a super productive One Day Design Intensive (or VIP Day, as I like to call them 😉)…
Total Flexibility!
You now have your own designer, strategist and tech support… all rolled into one! Whether you want to build out your brand basics or start a new marketing email campaign or build a website… your priorities are my priorities and we can take everything as it comes and roll with the punches throughout the day. We start with your check-list and priorities and cross them off until we run out of time.
Preparation is Paramount!
After you book your One Day Design Intensive, you’ll get a welcome email with your pre-work and a link to book your strategy call. That way you can get started pulling everything together right away and ensure we have everything we need prior to our VIP Day together!
You, it’s all about YOU!
It’s your day and as such, I clear out all distractions, get laser focused and work very intentionally on your to-do list. I’ll check in with you in real time for feedback so you do need to be available for text responding as questions come up throughout the day. (That’s a huge piece of the efficiency of this process!)
Here’s how we make it happen:
Step 1 - Book Your VIP Day
Click on the calendar below to choose a day that works best for you, keeping in mind you will have 2 weeks of ‘prep-work’ to complete before our day together. You’ll need to be virtually “available” during your intensive, so don’t choose a date that already has appointments. You can book your date with a 50% deposit, or pay in full.
Step 2 - Prep-Work
Once you’ve booked your date, you’ll receive 2 emails from me. The 2nd email will include your VIP DAY welcome packet and checklist, and it’s important that you read this right away!
Step 3 - Pre-VIP Day Strategy Call
The week before your VIP day, we’ll schedule a quick (30-60 minute) call to go over all of your pre-work and talk about your priorities for us during your VIP day so we are ready to go and hit the ground running right away when your big day arrives.
Step 4 - YOUR VIP DAY! Hooray!
Because you will have gathered all of the information/materials that I need in advance, I’ll start your Day with everything I need and off to the races we go! (Remember, the remainder of your balance is due on the morning of your VIP Day.)
It is helpful for you to be available throughout the day if any questions arise, but I usually don’t need too much from you at that point.
At the end of the day, you’ll receive a wrap-up instructional video or next steps.
Step 5 - A month of support… just in case
Once we’ve completed our day together, you’ll have 30 days of support on anything related to the work that we did on your day!
It’s important to note that when you schedule your VIP Day Intensive, you are booking me for the DAY, not a set of deliverables.
But because of my experience, I am able to achieve maximum results in our time together.

+ Can You Design My Website In A Day?
Yes, we can design a small, introductory website in a day. If you are looking for a more robust site, we can discuss a plan for how we could get it done for you with multiple Design Intensive Days.
+ What Can You Do In A Day?
It depends on what you need done and the complexity of each project. I may be able to get one or more of these done during our Design Intensive Day:
✔️ Design a custom website strategy based on your goals and give you a private Squarespace lesson.
✔️Design a starter brand (to include 1 text-based logo, a color palette, font pairings & mood board)
✔️Give one or two pages of your Squarespace website a facelift.
✔️Build your Airbnb listing
✔️Connect your Airbnb listing to Smartbnb to automate messaging, etc. If you have any questions regarding what I can get done in a day, we can talk through those on our FREE 30 minute consultation call.
+ What’s the schedule for the day?
The Design Intensive Day hours are from 9:00am - 3:00 pm Mexican Pacific Daylight Time.
Here’s what a sample day might look like:
9:00 I jump right into your projects
Noon quick zoom conference call for feedback from you.
12:30 Back to work I go on your projects
3:00 At the end of our day you’ll receive a wrap up video with suggested next steps.
- If you’ve booked multiple sessions, your wrap up video from day one may include a request for any feedback or change requests needed to jump back into work for day two. *
+ What do I need to do before our VIP Day?
It will all depend on the projects that you are hiring me to work on but below are details to give you an idea of what you can expect depending on different types of projects. All materials and access I need to begin work are due 2 days before your Design Intensive Day. (Don’t worry, I’ll hook you up with a shared Google Drive folder and Welcome Doc to go through everything we’ll need so you don’t have to worry about missing anything!)
For a starter brand, I’ll need you to fill out a questionnaire and provide some sample sites or brands for inspiration.
For website strategy and/or design, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire and provide some site samples for inspiration. (I’ll also need photos and copy (aka text) - but I’ll give you templates for all of that to make it as quick and painless as possible! :) )
For Airbnb listings, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire and provide photos and copy (aka text) but again, I’ll give you templates to make all of that as quick and painless as possible!)
+ Do you offer refunds?
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to book your VIP Day.
If your plans change, you may rebook up to one week before your Design Intensive Day without any additional fees.
You must re-book your Design Intensive Day within two months of your originally booked date.
The remainder of the fee is due by 9:30 am Mexican Pacific Daylight Time on your VIP Day.
By booking your VIP Intensive Day, you are paying for my time and expertise, and not an end result. I do not issue refunds but I will of course allow clients to reschedule if any sort of force majeure event should occur. (could include acts of God, nature, power or connectivity issues as well as any issues with any software of Squarespace, health, etc) prevents me from working during the Design Intensive Day.
